Mozambican Youth to Be Inspired by International Inuka Leader at Groundbreaking Event

On April 12th, Maputo will serve as the stage for a transformative event aimed at reshaping the landscape of youth entrepreneurship. Accomplished businesswoman Carla Ernesto — a prominent Sapphire Leader within the Inuka brand — will host South African leadership icon Toleka Ludidi, who currently holds the prestigious rank of Executive Diamond, the second-highest leadership tier in the company. Ludidi will spearhead an exclusive in-person training session themed “Success Journey of a Top Leader.”

This milestone gathering is designed to inspire and equip Mozambican youth with the tools to pursue financial independence through network marketing — particularly through Inuka, a well-established fragrance and cosmetics enterprise with a footprint of over 240,000 members across 11 African countries.

“My foremost motivation was to provide Mozambican youth with a tangible and relatable example that financial independence is attainable through network marketing,” stated Carla Ernesto. “Toleka Ludidi, now an Executive Diamond, generates her entire income through Inuka. She courageously transitioned from a secure banking profession to selling cosmetics full-time — a powerful testament to vision, boldness, and unwavering consistency.”

The event also aims to dispel the widespread myth that success is reserved for those who start with considerable financial means.

“I want young people to grasp that success is not an exclusive privilege — it is the outcome of perseverance, focus, and strategic collaboration,” Carla emphasized. “Toleka will illustrate how discipline and commitment can pave the way toward a sustainable and empowering income stream.”

To drive deeper youth engagement, Carla has invested in dynamic and relatable communication via social media, featuring real-life narratives of individuals who have experienced transformative journeys with the Inuka business.

“We are intentionally cultivating a space where young people feel represented, included, and uplifted,” she said. “We are not just sharing success stories — we are offering living proof: ordinary individuals who are reinventing their futures through Inuka. Complementing that, we’ve developed a tailored support ecosystem that includes explanatory materials, peer groups, and ongoing mentorship opportunities.”

Now with five years of experience in the business, Carla leads a robust network of over 500 members distributed across several provinces and oversees two thriving physical outlets located in Maputo and Namaacha. Her trajectory within Inuka is a vivid demonstration of what commitment and vision can accomplish.

“Like many, I began this journey full of doubts,” Carla recalled. “But through consistent effort and teamwork, I rose to the level of Sapphire Leader. I want more Mozambican youth to realise they don’t need to leave the country to achieve greatness — we can build success right here, collectively, through determination and strategic vision.”

The event’s central theme, “Success Journey of a Top Leader,” encapsulates the essence of its mission: to prove that success is attainable, even amidst economic uncertainty and professional hurdles.

“The theme serves as a symbolic bridge between aspiration and action,” Carla elaborated. “Many young people face systemic obstacles when entering formal job markets, leaving entrepreneurship as their most viable alternative. Toleka’s journey resonates with that reality — she overcame similar challenges and forged her own path.”

Far from being a one-off initiative, Carla stressed that the event marks the beginning of a longer-term support programme for young entrepreneurs embarking on their Inuka journeys.

“We will offer continuous training workshops, personalised mentorship, experience-sharing forums, and monthly challenges,” she concluded. “At Inuka, no one is left to walk the path alone — we place high value on teamwork and collective empowerment.”

This highly anticipated event promises to be a pivotal moment for many young Mozambicans in pursuit of financial freedom and personal advancement. Admission is set at 1,200 MT and space is limited to the first participants who register.
